May 1, 2019      26 Comments

In my lifetime, I have worn so many different sizes. In my closet, at this very moment, are clothes that cover a range of numbers. I fit in everything from an 8 to a 12, depending on the brand, article of clothing and personal preference of fit. I have been in both 00 and 18, both of which were ...

With Virginia Beach behind us, it's time to start focusing on the Space Coast Half Marathon. This is my annual goal race and it is also the year I will earn my three-year challenge medal. Eeek! I am taking my training very seriously this time around, and I am hoping that it all pays ...

the solution to my shoelace problem

April 3, 2014      17 Comments

One thing I have noticed about myself, since I started running, is that I am very particular about the things on my person when I head out for a training session. The toes of my socks have to be positioned just-so. My ponytail can't be too high or too low or too tight or too loose. my Armpocket ...

thoughts for thursday

I usually don't do "random thoughts" posts, but I've got a lot of things rolling around in my head, and the best way to get them out is just to share. I've dropped a size in Old Navy and Target workout clothes. I was getting close, but it was still a 50/50 shot up or down. Not so much anymore! ...

I was ready to run when the sun came up on Sunday morning. Well, almost ready to run. I was awake while it was still dark and it kind of sounded like it was raining, so I thought I might skip it entirely, but the sun peeked out and so I laced up. This marked my second attempt in the new shoes, ...

January ➡️ planks
February ➡️ balance

Lately, I’ve had the urge to get back in a gym. Kickboxing is out for right now but I think I could take on boot camp or spin.

Then I felt a little guilty about spending the money when I have some weights and bands at home, our neighborhood has a gym, and I have a surgical procedure on the horizon (boo, wisdom teeth), so I thought I would work my way up to group classes by starting at home.

Day 1 done! ✅ with an assist from @sweetlunapug!
