My camera roll is embarassingly full, so it’s nice to sit back and review the summer in photos. While it wasn’t our most exciting summer ever, we did have a few nice events and get togethers, and I am looking forward to more great days ahead.
May
Summer started strong with a lot of big events. There was the end of the school year, with prom, last performances, and awards ceremonies. We had big Yelp events, and I went off to enjoy some beautiful local spaces on my own. We squeezed in a decent amount of things, considering.
June
June was exceptionally uneventful. I have hundreds of photos in my camera roll, but they are all of the pets I watched and walked. Would you believe I had about 27 different clients from May through August. Is that not the wildest thing? At any rate, we had some time with extended family, went to the movies, and just did the things.
July
This was our month! We had our trip to Athens and the Groovy Cow Yurt! I got a weekend away with some friends in Orlando for the annual Taste! gala. The boys got to head to Atlanta for DCI, which turned into a much longer trip, but they loved it! We saw some family and checked out some new to us things. Yes, it was terribly hot, but we pulled through.
And now we are starting August. It’s still technically summer, but with school starting in less than a week, we can also say goodbye to that chapter.
