Every August, as the heat starts to hint at cooler mornings ahead, it’s natural to take stock of the season. This summer wasn’t just busy, it was, in a word, epic. If I had to narrow down the absolute highlights from the blur of the last few months, these take the cake.

Celebrating A’s High School Graduation
Watching A walk across that stage was equal parts surreal and emotional. Reaching the end of the high school is the end of an era. I’ll never forget his first day of freshman year, already confident as a member of the marching band, and watching him grow into such incredible young man ready to take on the world. Being surrounded by family and celebrating everything he’s accomplished made it the undisputed highlight of our summer. It’s a whole new season for our family, and I couldn’t be prouder of where he’s headed next.

A Wedding + Family Reunion
There’s nothing quite like having most of the family together under one roof. Celebrating love, catching up with relatives we don’t see often enough, and dancing the night away made for one of the best weekends of the entire year. I’m so glad we were able to make it happen!

Epic Universe Adventures
We finally made it to Epic Universe, and it lived up to every ounce of the hype! From stepping through the portals into completely immersive worlds to meeting Toothless (a personal peak moment!), it was everything I hoped for and more. Thrill rides, incredible details, and non-stop energy: it was easily one of our favorite theme park trips ever.

Broadway Nights: Seeing The Lost Boys in NYC
New York City is always a great time! We headed up to the city for a theater getaway, and catching The Lost Boys at the Palace Theatre was an absolute knockout. The music, the production, the sheer nostalgic energy of bringing an 80s classic to life on Broadway: it lived up to every expectation. Between long walks exploring the city streets and soaking in the energy of Times Square, those Broadway lights made for an unforgettable summer night.

Horses + Pilates, and Grounding Routine
Between all the travel and big events, finding time to slow down and stay grounded was everything this summer. Unplugging to spend time doing mat pilates at my friend’s farm was absolutely incredible! I really enjoyed taking on a new activity.

This summer set the bar high, but as the calendar shifts, I’m more than ready for crisp autumn air, routine, and whatever comes next!
