Halloween isn’t just for kids! Runners love tricks and treats, too! Whether you’re surprising your running buddy, treating your race crew, or just spoiling yourself, a Boo Basket is a spooky way to celebrate. Let’s build one, full of fun and functional goodies!

Start With The Basket
I began with these super cute paper popcorn buckets. Normally, I prefer to go with something a little more sustainable, but these were a great price for a pack of six, and I can either use them all now, or save them for future use. They were also just the right size for my boo basket plans.

Your Favorite Candy
Even runners need candy! We covered this last week, when we talked about using Halloween candy as fuel, so now is the perfect time to fill this bag with seasonal fruit chews and Nerds Gummy Clusters. I love these orange and purple Nerds: they are extra festive.

A Halloween Running Top
When you convince your running bestie to take on a Halloween race, you’ll need a cute top to go with a theme! You can make your own with iron-on vinyl, or find something online or in store. Raw Threads has some adorable and spooky designs that would be perfect, but this simple printed tank fits the bill nicely.

Halloween Themed Sunglasses
What Halloween loving runner wouldn’t want a pair of spooky sunnies? Goodr is always great about offering super cute themed options, and starting at $25, they are super affordable for a cute gift to your running buddy.

Great Running Socks
Look no further than Jogology for moisture-wicking socks in awesome colors as a small but mighty upgrade for any runner’s gear stash. These fit perfectly in a Boo Basket and will be perfect for any running buddy!

Cute Halloween Accessories
I don’t often wear jewelry while running, but some cute accessories are a great filler for your spooktacular boo basket! These beetles are made of resin, and are super lightweight and comfy. Festive accessories make every finish line feel like a celebration.

Include a little note that says “You’ve been Boo’d” and you’ve to the perfect gift for your running friends or teammates, or even yourself, if you just need an extra spooky treat! Who are you boo-ing this Halloween!
