About Runs With Pugs: Our Story, Goals & Mission
Hi, I’m Jenn, and welcome to the corner of the internet where we embrace chaos, celebrate consistency, and believe that the best therapy happens in running shoes.
When I say “Runs With Pugs“, it’s a bit of an inside joke: yes, I am completely obsessed with my pugs (and our family life here in Northeast Florida!), but I’m the one putting in the miles…they are usually providing the post-run snuggles. The name is a reminder that even when things seem mismatched, they often lead to the greatest joy.

The Real Miles: Resilience and Grace
My running journey isn’t defined by a single PR or a specific race distance; it’s defined by showing up, especially on the days when I want to quit. For me, running is the ultimate coping mechanism, a non-negotiable mental health check that allows me to process the noise, manage the stress of life, and find peace on the pavement.
This space is dedicated to sharing the authentic side of endurance running: the training hiccups, the unexpected victories, the importance of recovery, and the commitment to consistency (hello, #streakingwiththecoolkids!). We focus on building resilience through movement and giving ourselves grace when we need it most.

What’s next for Runs With Pugs?
Since my first pair of running shoes, I’ve completed 20 half marathons, and a Ragnar Trail Relay. My next goal? 50 Races in 50 States!
