Welcome to Runs With Pugs. My name is Jenn and this is the story of how a husband and wife started running together with Couch 2 5K. I will share the ups and downs of our training for a half and a full marathon, as well as other little peeks into our lives. Oh. We have pugs, too. Thank you for joining us! I had my first Pug Rescue after I had to put my wonderful Doberman Biggie down. It sounds harsh but it always happens. I fostered a 7 year old Pug because his family moved to where they couldn’t have pets. Well I ended up keeping her. She was so gentle and sweet.
They named her Mugsy but I changed it to Maggie. She started having breathing problems and would actually collapse. I loved her so much. She went everywhere with me. She passed right before her 14th Birthday also. After months of not having a dog, I rescued another Pug which was going on 2 and he just turned 7. Time flies and I always remember “we have our family and friends, they only have us”
