This is a sponsored post. March to Get Screened has compensated me with two complimentary entries in exchange for my review, as well as two additional registrations to use for the purposes of a giveaway. All opinions are my own.
Today’s giveaway is for a very special cause.
Did you know that colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States? And that a colonoscopy can prevent that cancer from ever starting?
I hope you’ll join us for the fifth annual March To Get Screened on Sunday, March 9. This 5K is open to participants of all fitness levels and promotes colon cancer awareness and prevention through early screening. Wear blue in support of those whose lives have been touched by this horrible disease and join us at the Jacksonville Beach Fishing Pier for an inspiring run/walk.
Clearly, this is a wonderful cause, and I am so excited to be participating in the event, with a very special walking partner (Yes. I’m going to walk this one. I’ve overextended myself on my race calendar, and I’ve also got a really good reason – stay tuned!)
The 5K is open to both runners (for $25 each) and walkers ($15). Young adults (16 and under) and children can participate for free. After the event, celebrate with food and drinks from Lynch’s Irish Pub and enjoy live music from Grammy-nominated Darren Corlew.
Enter below to win a complimentary entry for yourself and a friend to participate in this wonderful event. I hope you’ll be able to join us for this wonderful experience. This giveaway ends March 1 at midnight EST, and I’ll announce the winner selected via random.org on this blog.

I’ll probably bring one of my girlfriends with to run/walk because some of them are trying to get into shape and I think this would be a great motivator!

I would love to get back out there. Last March was my last 5k. Getting back out there, and this would be perfect. Such an amazing cause!
