TikTok has really hooked me lately, and through this platform, I have found some great TikTok wellness accounts that really speak to me. Wellness covers a broad spectrum of fitness, self-care, nutrition, and mental health, and the accounts I want to share with you today come from all the above categories.
@briannajoye_fitness
Bree Kohn is a personal trainer, professional dancer, and model out of New York City. She created a workout system that combines dance cardio and bootcamp into something she calls DRIP. You can read more about her training and plans here. Bree’s TikTok page is full of incredible, sustainable workouts, that are completely accessible to people of all fitness levels. I love her easy-to-follow videos and instructions, and the variety of her content keeps me coming back for more.
@angryreactions
Friends, if Oneya D’Amelio doesn’t put a smile on your face and melt your heart in your chest, I don’t know what to tell you. This man has created an account based on kindness, compassion, inclusion, and self-love. Yes, he can scrunch up his face to look like the angriest person you’ll ever see, butt when he declares “GAWJUSS!” and smoothes his expression into a smile, the world lights up. Follow him just to be a part of the love he shines on this world.
@thesaladlab
So you don’t NEED to eat salads in order to be healthy, but beautiful salads are my jam, and I love how The Salad Lab creates its recipes. The Salad Lab films with an overhead tripod, and measures out ingredients with little test tubes and beakers. So scientific! Most of the salads are actually famous in some way, whether invented by a restaurant, chef, or celebrity, so that’s kind of neat. At the end of each instructional TikTok, viewers also get to see a wine that pairs with the day’s salad, which is a lovely touch.
@andydoeshealthy
Andy Miller is a Registered Dietitian who spends her time on TikTok debunking dangerous diet fads and trends. She is a breath of fresh air in the face of toxic diet culture, and I admire her resolve. Miller’s passion is for people to enjoy a healthy relationship with food and their bodies, and she works hard to point out the half-truths and dangerous misinformation that could threaten that goal. Her information is presented clearly and calmly with little to no judgment, and she backs up her findings with data and research. She is a great watch.
@adamwrightfitness
Adam Wright stands apart as one of my favorite creators. He is a certified personal trainer, who, himself, lost 100 pounds, and then used his success to help others reach their wellness goals. Like Andy Miller, he works hard to establish reasonable expectations in an industry that can be very toxic and damaging to people struggling with weight, strength, and body image. I love how he claps back at fat-shaming, and presents an approachable, accepting visage to those who are working so hard to find themselves through fitness.

Well, I hate to sound like a Boomer (which my kids accuse me of, although technically I’m Gen X) but I haven’t explored TikTok yet. You’re definitely making it sound pretty great though! I’ll check out your account, thanks!
Erica @ Erica Finds says
I’m not a huge fan of myself on video so I haven’t gotten into the TikTok game. I do enjoy watching others’ TikToks. Maybe I’ll start an account. Thanks for the inspiration!
Darlene S Cardillo says
I have not explored TikTok either.
I would not video myself and post but I should check yours and some others.

Kimberly Hatting says
I’m just beginning my video voyage (on Insta), so TikTok is totally foreign to me LOL I do know what it is (my kids would be so proud), but I have not even checked out the app. Maybe someday….

They go very hand in hand!
Renée says
thanks for the recs Jenn! I follow a bit of randomness at the moment on TikTok but man is it easy to fall into the rabbit hole! I likely won’t post anything there because I’m just not clever enough to figure it out quickly. if it takes too much time I just can’t invest in it. probably why I haven’t even looked at TikTok for 2 weeks – too busy!!
runswithpugs says
HUGE rabbit hole. It took me a while to post anything, but I think I’m getting the hang of it. Some people are truly so talented, though.
Michelle D. says
I have not explored TiKTok at all – I’m still trying to embrace reels on IG…yes I’m so old school LOL! But it sounds like you have found some good content there.

Pfffft. I’m a late bloomer in that regard as well. I can make content on TikTok and then upload to Reels, so it works out well.
Chocolaterunsjudy says
I’ll bet the pugs are so cute on TikTok! I don’t use it though.

Thanks for these recommendations! I don’t post on TikTok but I love the app to view educational and funny videos. You gave me more accounts to follow, including yours ! 🙂
