On Wednesday, it will be December, the last month of this (very bizarre) year. I’m excited. I love December, and winter, and all the things that go with it. I am going to work very hard to cram in as much as possible this month, and enjoy it as much as possible.
Sunday – 3.6 miles, walking
Happy Sunday! The warmer weather was back, but it was a bit of a dreary day. Nevertheless, the week had begun, and so it was off to conquer.
A had to work on another merit badge (which he completed!) and then he and Mr PugRunner went out to do some more fundraising work for Scouts. They had a good time, even if the weather did deteriorate throughout the day.
Monday – 5.06 miles, beach + hill repeats
I braved the chill and made it back to my beach. It was crazy. Cold, windy, and I got drizzled on. Boo.
Tuesday – 5.00 miles, running + .32 miles, walking
Happy day before the holiday weekend! Of course, we ran.
I had the day off from Taco, which was fine. In the meantime, I had plenty of things to do at home, with some client work and prep around the house. Mr PugRunner worked from home, too, so it was a nice day.
Even better? Ms. Luna got her stitches out! She hated every second of the car ride, but was so happy to be all healed up.
Wednesday – 3.52 miles, walking + hip flexor workout
A started his break, so I left him to sleep in while I walked.
Then we met my parents for breakfast. A was going to spend the day and night with them. It’s been too long since he had a sleepover.
My day was jam packed: I made the stuffing and macaroni and cheese. I also ironed all our holiday outfits, set the dining room table and worked on some more crafts.
Mr PugRunner wanted to go to Flagler Beach for dinner, but the restaurant he chose was closed through December. We found another place to try, and it was such a great evening.
Thursday – 5 miles, running + 1.31 miles, walking
Happy Thanksgiving! As I mentioned, I skipped the annual Turkey Trot in favor of sleeping in a little and running with J. Yes, I skipped out on a medal! Who am I?
When I got home, I put together the charcuterie board, while Mr PugRunner worked on the turkey. Then I showered and was off to the Alligator Farm. Maximo, the giant saltwater crocodile, was celebrating his 50th birthday, while the rest of the zoo had Thanksgiving, and I had been invited to check it out.
Then it was back home for a feast with the family. It was a beautiful day.
And check out Luna’s barkcuterie board! She loved it and ate (slowly) every treat).
Friday – 4.04 miles, walking
Did I want to get out of bed? No. Did I do it anyway? Yes.
The rest of the day was literally spent finalizing ornaments and packaging cups. I was so grateful to get in pajamas and veg out on the couch in front of the television. We are watching the new Hawkeye series and it’s incredible.
Oh, and it was Black Friday. I didn’t go near a store, but I did purchase a few things online. Funny story: one of my QALO stackable wedding bands disappeared. I couldn’t find it anywhere. Well, when I was walking Luna on Friday, she was doing her business and I noticed something odd in her doodle. Long story short, I decided to just replace the ring rather than attempt a rescue. Sigh.
Saturday – 9 miles running
J and I got up early to squeeze in nine miles before my day really started.
After my shower, Mr PugRunner helped me set up my tent and table at the amenity center in my neighborhood. At first, I thought I had made a HUGE mistake, but I actually had a really great day of sales, and even got a whole bunch of custom orders, too! Wow.
I was absolutely exhausted by the time we closed shop, so I opted for leftovers and wine, while the boys went to a hockey game. It was the perfect end to a Saturday.
Goal-getting
So I did slack a little on my strength training this week. I was super busy with the holiday and the vendor fair, so it just didn’t work out. That’s k, I’m back into it this week.
I am linking up with the Weekly Rundown, with Confessions of A Mother Runner and Running on the Fly! Check them out!
How was your week in training? Have you ever watched a saltwater crocodile feed? How about tortoises? Did you have a nice holiday?

Your charcuterie board is amazing! Looks like you had quite a feast. And nice job at the craft fair. It’s awesome that you had success!

Love the charcuterie board AND the barkcuterie board! That’s hilarious. Sound like you had a great week. i also didn’t do quite as many workouts, but we just get in what we can. You got in some great running.
I tried to zoom in to see your crafts better but couldn’t get a good look. Very cool that you had success with it! I also love the month of December and want to soak in all the festivities.

Your charcuterie board does look fantastic, but I really love Luna’s barkcuterie board 😉 You really are so creative! I’m glad to hear that the craft fair was a success!

Wow, what a busy week you had! How fun to be able to go to the zoo on Thanksgiving.
So sorry that Luna digested your ring but at least you know where it got to.
Have a great new week friend!

Wow. Just wow. I’m tired just reading all that! Glad you enjoyed it.
That Barkuturie board . . . again, wow! You’re so creative. I used to bake occasionally for the dogs but Bandit has a really delicate stomach. In fact, he threw up at my moms (he’s ok) & I blame it on the turkey someone had to feed him.
Thankfully none of mine have ever eaten jewelry . . . glad that didn’t cause a problem!

Your charcuterie boards are always so pretty! One of these days I’m going to try to make one. Looks like a great week to kick off the holidays for you! Wow, 50 years old? That crocodile is huge.

I’m so glad Luna is all healed up and could she be any cuter with her barkuterie board? I think not! How great the craft fair was a success!

BUSY week! Congrats on the craft fair, that’s great!
I love Luna’s little board, what a cute idea!

I’m so proud of you for having a vendor stall! We have bee hives and twice a year get lots of honey that we sell to friends and family. I’m always so shy to actually go to one of our local markets and set up a table, but you’ve inspired me to at least try it once!

I would love to see more about your hives! I love bees! I hope you do try it! It’s a good experience getting out there. And I’ve sold a ton more since then.
