Welcome to the November Coffee Date, and as luck would have it, it’s our anniversary month! We are celebrating 17 years on Saturday, and that’s just surreal.

Over Coffee I Would Tell You…
That I finally got out of the house FOR coffee. Of course, it was iced, despite the cardigan weather and chill in the air. I very rarely drink hot coffee. The only time I do is when I visit our local Cuban cafe, because their cafe con leche is phenomenal. Over the next two weeks, I plan to take myself to another new place in town, that’s supposed to be absolutely gorgeous and instagrammable. I can’t wait.

I Would Also Share…
That I am kind of devastated that marching season is coming to a close. Who knew that it would feel so short this year? On the plus side, our school is introducing Indoor Winds this year, and so we will kind of get an encore season. A is absolutely over the moon about it and I am so happy that his passion is getting to continue before wind ensemble and jazz really gets going.

I’d Like You To Know
That I think I’m ready to commit to NaNoWriMo. For real this time. Now that I’ve put it into the universe, I will most likely probably forget all about it. There have been some ideas floating in my brain, and maybe I can get them out on paper (or the screen). If I can’t, maybe I will join Jenny in writing a blog post every day in November.
And Another Thing
Can you believe it’s November? We already started booking holiday experiences and excursions to get things on the calendar. The last two months of the year are going to fly by and we want to soak it all in as much as we can.

Happy Anniversary To Us!
Like I said, we will be celebrating 17 years tomorrow. It will be kind of an unusual celebration this year, but I guess that’s what make things fun. I’ll tell you all about it soon!

Happy Anniversary! I totally agree with you about how quickly marching band season slips away. You are wise to be intentional about planning your holiday excursions. It all becomes a blur!
Happy anniversary.
I work from home so I do get excited to go the Starbucks. Like yesterday.
The year is speeding by. I always visit NY around the holidays. Don’t think I have time this year.
Happy Anniversary!
I haven’t even figured out our Thanksgiving plans, let alone Christmas. I’m sure it will be low-key.
I always drink hot coffee, even if it’s hot outside! 🙂
