Everyone’s favorite dinosaur race is coming March 10, and we want to share all the reasons to love The Raptor Run 3K at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm! This run is an annual favorite, and we are always so happy to be a part of it!
You Get To Race A Velociraptor
That’s right. One of my favorite things about the Raptor Run 3K is you get to take on a velociraptor! Does she get a head start? You bet she does! But she’s still fast and catching her is a challenge!
Proceeds Go To Conservation Efforts
Every year, a portion of the proceeds from the Raptor Run 3K go directly to conservation efforts. This year, the chosen partner is the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey to celebrate native raptors. More information and education will be available at the race site before the event, so be sure to check it out.
3K Is Perfect For Everyone
For some of you, that’s a new distance, so automatic PR! For others, it’s a nice distance before hitting 5K. Still others may like a nice little break after Gate River Run weekend. Whatever the case, this is a perfect, manageable distance on a Sunday morning. The course is pretty, too, starting and finishing at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park.
Participants Get Great Swag
You know it! Every year, we get a gorgeous, soft t-shirt, and a fantastic medal. Yay for the bling! I can’t wait to see what it looks like this year, but they keep getting better and better.
It’s A Great Place To See Your Running Buddies
That’s right! Everyone loves to come out to the Raptor Run 3K! This is a great event for people of all ages and abilities. It’s a great way to get everyone out for an active morning, and the vibe is nothing short of perfection. If you bring your kids, you can get a free child’s admission ticket with your paid adult admission after the race!
The Raptor Run 3K Is Just Good Fun
Running the Raptor Run 3K is really just a great time. You’ll have a beautiful morning, in a lovely part of St. Augustine. Afterwards, there will be snacks and drinks, and even photos with that cool raptor from earlier!

Sounds like a lot of fun. A 3k sounds like a great distance (especially since I’m facing a half marathon this weekend lol)
