On September 7, 2013, the ZOOMA Women’s Race Series will bring to Jacksonville Beach an Inspired Yoga + Run event at the Seawalk Pavilion.
The morning will start at 7:30 AM, when participants will take part in a 50-minute outdoor yoga flow session, geared towards any and all skill levels, from brand-new to advanced. The session will be both fun and challenging and instructors will be on hand to help beginners with form and modifications. (Please bring your own yoga mat and water).
After that, enjoy the beautiful view with a 3 mile run (or walk) on the beach. No time, no pressure. Just a great way to get yourself moving.
Finally, when your workout is complete, savor some time relaxing with the friends who have joined you and new acquaintances you have met that day, along with the sun, sand and some light refreshments.
Peaceful. Healthy. Inspiring. A great way to spend a Saturday morning.

With a hectic schedule abs chaos of kids everyday a morning of yoga and running would put some peace and balance back in my life to carry through with me during the weeks ahead as well. Running already gives me the stress release so yoga combined with running in one morning would make me one relaxed mama !

I’m constantly comparing myself to Mr. JennErikHams and his awesomeness. I think I need a ladies only event to give me inspiration and relaxation in a non-competitive environment. Plus, the only Yoga I’ve tried is on the WiiFit, so this would be a great introduction. Beach yoga?! Sign me up!

I think a morning of yoga followed by a run will inspire me to have more flexibility. Too often I don’t take the time that I should to stretch or do yoga. Doing so leaves me with tight hamstrings and a gate that lacks full potential. Hopefully it will inspire me to make more time for yoga in my daily routine. Running + yoga is a win all around!

If only I could teleport, seriously I would be doing this even if it weren’t a giveaway and if I actually lived near there. So oh poo.
It sounds divine, yoga and running on the beach, sounds very grounding.

I’ve been in a real funk lately – trying to balance too much and feeling like I’m not giving 100% to everything. Yoga and a good run in the salty ocean air sounds like just what I need to renew my energy and recharge my batteries. I think it would inspire me to see the good in my life, there is so much of it, instead of worrying so darn much.

In February I became a Christ-Centered Yoga Leader after years of being a student. In July I ran my first full marathon after years of half-marathons. I am a single mom that just moved to Jacksonville at the beginning of August from Montana. I plan on meeting friends here with similar interests, staying active in my personal life as well as involvement with the community.
