For this month’s ultimate coffee date, let’s serve up some delicious cafe con leche. You all know I don’t love hot coffee, but I can’t get enough of this one from a local Cuban restaurant.

After reading here, head on over to visit Coco and Deborah, our awesome link-up hosts.

Over coffee, I would tell you…
That I haven’t been drinking a lot of coffee lately. l was a bit of a homebody (at least in the mornings), and just didn’t feel like going out. It’s not a bad thing. In fact, it’s probably better for me, overall. I still get my caffeine boost, but I’m not spending as much money to get it (I don’t like our home coffee).
Over coffee, I would tell you…
That I am finally getting some backend work done on this website! I love the cometic appearance of Runs With Pugs, butt there are a few technical details that need to happen. We are finally at a point where I can invest in that and I am so thrilled.
Over coffee, I would tell you…
That I have been accepted to the Honey Stinger Hive this year! Honey Stinger chews and waffles were my very first fueling sources when I started, so it’s really come full circle! I can’t wait to get started with the program!

Over coffee, I would tell you…
That am also back for year 2 of the Yelp Elite Squad for Jacksonville. I love that Yelp helps us all support local business, and I’ve had so many great in-person and virtual experience this year. Are you on Yelp or part of the Yelp Elite Squad in your town? I’d love to connect – you can find me here.

Over coffee, I would tell you…
That started bullet journaling. I love my regular paper planner, but I needed a better way to track plans, and goals. I got myself a dotted notebook, some pens, and a few stencils, and got to work. I can couple my need to be creative with my desire to be better prepared and organized, and I am very happy so far.
What would you share over coffee? Do you bullet journal?

Oh, gosh, I would be lost if I didn’t like my home-brewed coffee, but I think it is harder to get iced coffee right — I drink mine hot.
I love the idea of having a pretty bullet journal, but I suffer from wanting it to be perfect. For work, I do keep a paper calendar — I like writing things down and crossing them off.
Iced coffee is like that. When it’s good it’s good. When it’s bad… yuck.
I have a separate book for to-do lists that I can cross off. It’s a good combination!
I love my at home coffee. I perfected it over the pandemic! Is it the coffee or the machine you don’t like? If you use iced, there are a lot of good pre-made shots.
I use a paper planner and an electronic calendar.
Love Honey Stingers!
I don’t know if it’s the coffee or the machine. Maybe it’s the creamer? I don’t know. I know I’m not a coffee purist, nor do I totally drown out eh flavor with cream and sugar. But nothing has quite tasted great to me at home. I was looking at using one of those concentrated coffees. Maybe Ill try.
Love that you have found a new journaling style. I have a few friends that also use this method and they say it has helped them so much to stay on track with goals, appointments, etc.
Congrats on joining the Hive! I discovered their rapid hydration mix last year and love it!
I love HS products a lot. They are so gentle on my stomach, and I need that!
Congrats on both the Honey Stinger Hive and Yelp Elite!
I am a paper planner fanatic but have never tried bullet journaling. I love how pretty your layout looks!
It was really intimidating to start the bullet journal, but now I’m so excited to fill it in!
I didn’t apply for any sponsorship/ambassadorships this year… lazy I guess.
I do not journal… again lazy.
I work full-time and I can barely find the time to blog. (Mine is sorely in need of a make-up – haven’t changed it since 2008).
I prefer Starbucks coffee but working from home I have to settle to Starbucks k-cups with flavored creamers. First work problems.
I would hardly call you lazy! My brain has been very … agitated lately, and creative things are what keep me calm. It’s an anxiety reliever, so I carve out the time to do it, especially now.
And I’m cracking up at “first work problems.”
This reminds me that I have YET to get a 2022 planner (I’ve been using my office calendar, since I’m working remotely and no one can see all my scribbles, LOL).
I love starting the year with a new planner! It’s my favorite!
Welcome to the Hive! Well actually I let that go this year, not really intentionally, but probably for the best. It’s a great community.
I have let a lot of my creativity go, or channeled it into different areas. I’ll do stuff like bullet journaling fo4 a short time but it never lasts long.
We went to a Yelp Elite event once. It was fun! But my husband didn’t want to join it. Now we don’t eat out as much. So again, probably for the best!

Being social is hard for me, so I have really enjoyed the virtual Yelp events. My husband LOVES joining me for these kinds of things, though. He’s a total extrovert and adores getting out and about.
It’s why I buy good coffee to brew at home–I love coffee and I’m still saving money by not buying Starbucks or any other coffee at a coffee shop.
Congrats on your Yelp Elite selection and the Honey Stinger ambassadorship! It’s so fun, isn’t it?
I think your blog looks great! The only $$ I spend is on my domain. My views have dropped so low the past couple of years, its just not worth it. I really need to up my IG game.
I can’t monetize some things I want to and this will help. I’m excited.
I don’t know why my coffee tastes different than what I get out. I don’t drink it too often, so I guess it’s a nice treat.
It’s funny, i just read Kim’s comment- I also realized today that I don’t have a 2022 planner yet! How did that happen? I’ve alway been intrigued by the bullet journals. Maybe at some point you can do a post about how you do yours.
Sounds like you have a lot of exciting things going for the new year!
One of our recent houseguests brought me some coffees from a boutique coffee shop in NYC so that is what I’m enjoying now. Plus I’ve got a stash of my favorite from Maine as well. I love trying out all different coffee sources. Cute bullet journal! I use a paper planner with a bullet journal in back + my online calendar. So far so good!
I do so much better when I write things out!
Congrats on your ambassadorship! I love ice coffee but right now it is too cold to drink in the morning. I am now drinking hot coffee and I like it better. I am trying to cut down on coffee too and have been drinking one cup in the morning. We’ll see how I do when I go back to work. 🙂 I haven’t tried bullet journaling but would like to but do not know where to start. I rely on Google Calendar for all of my meetings and appointments. I also use a Happy Planner for work which I love.
Ha! It’s never too cold for iced coffee!
I love my Life Agenda for my calendar. It has everything I need and the paper quality is great.
