let’s chat at the july coffee date

June 30, 2022      20 Comments

I know, I know. How did we get here so quickly? Friends, I have no idea. Grab your coffee (iced for me, in this heat), and join me for a chat.

After reading here, head on over to visit Coco and Deborah, our awesome link-up hosts.

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is Ultimate-Coffee-Date-1.jpg

Over coffee, I would tell you…

That I finished the Streaking With The Cool Kids 30 Day Run Streak for the second time! This puts me at 395 days of running/walking/jogging one intentional mile per day! Even though it doesn’t feel like it, I completed 163 miles this month, which, considering everything, isn’t terrible. Go me.

Over coffee, I would tell you…

I tried the new Dunkin Brown Sugar Cream Cold Brew, and did not love it. It’s rare that Dunkin has a miss for me, but this was just not it. Maybe too sweet? Maybe too something? I didn’t finish it.

Over coffee, I would tell you…

That I got my hair done and I am so happy. I’ve been in one of those moods where I really want a change, but we’ve come so far on my “color journey” that I couldn’t just toss it all to go dark or a fashion color. This is what my incredible stylist came up with and I’m thrilled.

Over coffee, I would tell you…

That I treated myself to these sweet Honey Stinger x Goodr glasses. I had a discount, and when I was ordering more waffles, these spoke to me. Since I am an ambassador for both brands, it only made sense.

Over coffee, I would tell you…

That I won this really cool giveaway from Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Co and Party Can. The cooler of goodies from Natalie’s showed up at my doorstep today, and it was loaded up with awesome bar mixers, a new Tervis, and this sweet branded Hawaiian shirt! The adult beverages will come another day, but I picked them out this morning and am patiently (mostly) awaiting delivery!

What would you share over coffee? Did you complete a running streak this month? Have you tried Natalie’s Juices?

Not a streaker. But I do try to run or walk each day. But I only count my running miles.

As you said. Go you! That terrific.

I love coloring my hair. It makes me feel like a new women. It’s costly so I can only afford foils once or twice a year.

I love Goodrs. I’m always tempted to buy a new pair.

I am super lucky to have a stylist with great prices! When I lived in South Florida 15 or so years ago, it cost about $300 for my hair. Now, I pay a fraction of that, so the region definitely matters.

      i love buying new Goodrs.

Your hair looks great! Wow, great job on your mileage this month. Way to go! No more running streaks for me. I like my one day off.

I wish my ankle liked a day off. I get so stiff if I don’t at least walk.

Congrats on your streak! That’s a lot of days… and a lot of miles.
I’m never tried Natalie’s OR Goodrs! i know… I’m probably the last person to not own a pair of Goodrs. I might order some this time- I’m shopping for new sunglasses right now.

Love your cut & color. Mine never really changes.

Congrats on the completion of another streak! 163 is a lot (and yes, I understand that’s walking + running).

Great job on the streak! I’ve been #OptOutside streaking since just before Thanksgiving 2020, and I have no intention of ever stopping. It feels so good to get outside (even on the crazy hot or bitterly cold days).

It really does feel great! And just a mile isn’t so very difficult even on the hard days.

I’m at day 862 of my #runstreak. Tempting to go for 1,000… but I’ll see how things go at the end of the month on our European Vacation. I don’t want to be super stressed about it.

Love the new look and the Honeystinger Goodrs, too!

congrats on the run streak again!!

normally coffee drinks are real basic for me. I want to add my own sugar (if I want it) and cold brew I really need to be in the mood for. I appreciate that companies offer different and new things but I’m going to keep things simple for myself. Bummer you didn’t like the new drink.

Love the sunnies! totally makes sense that you bought them!

Also loving the hair – absolutely gorgeous!!

I saw the juices on tiktok – so many great choices!

I like my coffee pretty simple, usually just cream, but sometimes a little flavor is nice. This one just didn’t do it for me.

The juices are good. I can’t wait to make some cocktails this week!
