November is all about gratitude and giving, so today I want to discuss the things for which I am most grateful. A Thankful Tuesday, if you will!
I Am Thankful For…
My family. In case I haven’t made it clear, I’ve got some of the best people (and pugs) in the world in my house. My parents are amazing, too (although I need a recent photo of them!) I don’t know what I would do without them!
It’s A Good Time To Be Thankful For…
Our health. It’s been almost two years since Mr PugRunner had his medical crisis and honestly, we are super lucky to be here and ok. Things are certainly different, but it could have been so much worse.
Have I Mentioned That I’m Thankful For…
Our adventures? I absolutely love travel and adventure, and I’m so grateful we can do so much more of it! In addition to our regular, local shenanigans, this year we traveled to New Orleans, Chattanooga, Albuquerque and North Carolina! We saw hot air balloons, kayaked with bags, caught beads at Mardi Gras, drank coffee with alpacas, hiked in the mountains, and so much more! Will there be one more trip in 2024? That remains to be seen.
Finally, On This Tuesday, I Am Thankful For…
Running! When I started this journey, over 10 years ago, I never realized how wonderful running could be for me. It’s been one of the true joys of my life, and I can’t see that changing anytime soon! From my first race in 2013 to planning for my next race in a few weeks, it’s been an incredible ride!
What are you thankful for?

You do have a lot to be thankful for, Jenn! I’m thankful for very similar things. I’m also thankful that when I could run no longer, I found another sport that I enjoy almost as much.
Darlene Cardillo says
Thankful for similar things.
I’m happy that I decided to run and hope to continue for many years.

Like you, I’m grateful for many similar things…friends, family, travels, and fitness.
