I am all about the things under my tree in the coming weeks. While nothing will be too much of a surprise, I love the wrapping and the lights, and being surrounded with the people and pets I love the most. So what do I hope to find under my tree with my name on it?
New Running Shoes!
Always and forever the answer is new running shoes. While I am currently wearing the new Adrenaline GTS 24, there was an incredible sale on the remaining 23s, so I put in my request to Santa. I’ve also been on a pink kick lately, so having a bluer shoe would be a nice way to mix things up.
A Race Entry
While I’m not exactly sure which race I’d like to run next, it would be nice to find a race entry under my tree. Santa has done a great job with that in years past, so I hope it continues. A great local option is the 48th Gate River Run 15K. From there, I’m not sure, but I’m excited for another year of races!
New Running Tops
I am in love with the Brooks Distance Collection (tanks and long sleeve) and hope to find a new top under my tree. Either of these are super cute and it’s always nice to be able to add something to my running wardrobe.
New Sports Bras
Here’s where things get tricky. I need a new sports bra style. My favorites are from Lululemon and Athleta, but they are just getting pricier and pricier. Old Navy used to sell a reasonably priced dupe for the Lululemon Energy Bra, but they did away with it. While I’m not picky about much, I am picky about my bras. I like lower necklines and thinner, strappy backs, as opposed to wider straps. I’m also not a fan of the newer longline styles. I might just go in on one or two of these, but things are getting dire in my bra drawer.
Insoles
Another thing I hate buying for myself is insoles. While my feet actually feel ok without them, a new pair is always nice as I ramp up my training. The Superfeet Berry have always been great for my arches and in helping to prevent plantar fasciitis. It’s about time I had a new set.
What do you hope to find under your tree this year?

We don’t exchange gifts.
But I could use all of the above.

We are sort of buying what we want and wrapping it up lol. It’s so silly.

I’m always up for shoes! My tank selection is looking like an update is needed as well.

I have been very bad (or good) about new tanks! I can’t help it!

love these1 I for sure would love a new pair of Brooks, but that will happen soon. Also, why are sport bras so difficult to find (that work and that one loves) and why so expensive???? seems so unfair!
runswithpugs says
Oh my gosh, it’s so hard! And they are so expensive! K was shopping with me and about choked when he saw some of them going for $70. The one I got was $50 and rang up as 30% off. I was like “I’m grabbing another one at that price!”

I need new tanks and bras! But I’m not sure if anyone else can pick them out for me, so I probably won’t find them under the tree. I hope you get everything on your list.
Btw, I did not link up my post today! I definitely don’t mind linking up with you guys- actually I love it- but since my post today isn’t fitness-related I didn’t link it. This happens every once in a while, I don’t know why. Anyway, just wanted to mention it in case you were wondering.

I tried on some sports bras on Friday and we bought a couple for my husband to wrap up under the tree lol. It worked out great!
No worries! We aren’t super strict about the linkup and we know that you usually have great fitness stuff, so never feel like you can’t!

All good stuff – especially new shoes…and I desparately need some new sports bras.
