Well, the busses start running on Monday, and we are back to school in the Sunshine State. Except not for us. A has a few more weeks before his fall semester starts. To which I can only say… pass me my iced coffee. I’m going to need it.

After reading here, head on over to visit Coco and Deborah, our awesome link-up hosts.

Over Coffee, I Would Tell You…
That we had the most amazing time in NYC. It’s been a few weeks and I’m still riding the high and the vibes. It’s amazing how much a city can energize you (almost as much as caffeine). I’ve got my fingers crossed for a longer trip in March, but we will see how things shake out.

I Would Also Tell You…
That we have been really filling up that travel calendar. Not all the trips are big, but we are definitely prioritizing getting out and about. We’ll be traveling to two football games, Chicago, a NASCAR race, maybe a Renaissance Festival, and possibly a New England road trip over the next 12 months. I’m really a much better human being when I’m traveling!

Over Coffee, I Would Share…
That we are dipping back into the kitchen renovation concept again. This time, we have a contractor lined up to quote things out. I’m simply speaking this into the universe because I really want a new kitchen and since we decided to stay put in our home for the next six years, it would be nice to just go for it. I’ve picked colors and finishes, gathered inspo pictures, and prioritized the projects. Our appliances are fairly new so that’s a plus. Fingers crossed that we can get over the finish line this time.

While I’m Having Coffee, I’m Going To Share…
That we had lunch with my college roommate and her family this week! No photos, but it was sooo good to connect with them! They were on a super massive road trip and had to pass our house to get home to theirs. We don’t see them often enough and we have plans to visit them in a couple of months!
With Coffee In Hand, I Would Tell You…
That this time next week, we’ll be packing up the vehicles to head to A’s first apartment. My nervous system doesn’t know quite what to do. Part of me is so over the moon excited for his next big adventure. But then I’m also so sad. He’s been doing a great job with packing and organizing and we are down to our last week with him as a permanent resident of the house.

What would you share over coffee? Is school starting by you? Anyone lined up for some big changes?
