Are Easter baskets for runners a tradition yet? I’m a holiday person and I love gifts (both giving and receiving), so I am all for normalizing visits from the Running Easter Bunny! What would go in my perfect Easter basket?
Start With The Basics
We start with a reusable container. This seagrass basket is jus the right size to handle a few goodies, and will come in handy for storing running accessories after the day is over.
All good Easter baskets require a chocolate bunny. This year, I went for the Reese’s Peanut Butter version, because… well, because they are delicious. I have a hard time committing to the full rabbit, but I think, with it’s PB center, I should be able to enjoy this.
Electrolyte Tablets
Tubes of electrolyte tablets or drink mixes fit perfectly into the runner’s Easter basket. They are compact and priced right, but also a super necessary addition for your athlete’s fuel stash. Pick some fun flavors to brighten the day! Nuun is my preferred electrolyte but there are plenty of options out there.
It’s Time For New Fuel
Instead of (or even in addition to) candy, runners might prefer some new fuel in their Easter basket. If you know what they prefer to take for energy on their runs, even better. My perfect Easter basket would be loaded with HoneyStinger deliciousness.
Sunnies For Everyone!
New Goodr sunnies are always a great addition to any gift. They are reasonably priced, and come in so many colors and designs. If you know, you know. Go for one of the OG models, or spice things up with something a little more unique.
Sock It To Me
Runners love socks, so feel free to load them up with their favorite in fun colors and a variety of styles. These pretty pastels from Balega are basket-ready and will surely be a hit on Easter morning!
Give The Gift Of Motivation
Bracelets and wraps from Momentum Jewelry are a great way for the Easter bunny to give a little sparkle. These pieces of bling come in a variety of styles for every taste and are sure to be a huge hit on Easter morning! These adjustable surf-style bracelets are super cute, but the mantra wraps are fantastic, too. Save on your next purchase with code SHAREIT15!

These are great ideas, Jenn!
I think what I would wish for would be a voucher for a massage. I rarely treat myself to one so I would definitely enjoy that.

Great idea! Gift certificates fit beautifully in baskets…

Love these ideas! I need some new running socks after my blister mishap. And some new sunglasses would be great too!

Not to jinx it, but I’ve never had a blister with my Balegas… Even on the wet and soggy days.

Wait, I want the Running Easter Bunny to come to my house! I would LOVE to get an Easter basket like this! I’ll take all this gear, except I would sub Hammer espresso gels for the honey stinger waffles. Oh, and the Easter bunny could bring me a new Garmin- that would be great.

Love it! I would love the bunny to bring me a new Garmin, too!

I know what’s in mine because I asked the bunny. Well sort of, I forgot my York Peppermint Patty bunny in Florida so it’s hopping back to NY. And then the Bunny was in 5 Below and found the Jillian Michaels bands I love so…
Santa Claus bought me Balega. I’m a very good girl apparently
runswithpugs says
Aw! I love this! I hope your bunny makes it home soon!

I want to celebrate Easter in your house!!
The kids are gown and we adults don’t do much. I’m also Jewish. But Easter is more fun than Passover.
