There are so many places I dream of running. Beautiful locations make my heart sing, and the ability to do something I love (running) in a locale that brings me joy is just … perfection. Grab your passport and your running shoes and let’s hit the pavement!

Washington DC
Specifically, during cherry blossom season. It is outrageous I haven’t made this happen yet, but timing never works out for the Cherry Blossom 10 Mile, and here we are. I love a good city run, and while I have been to DC a few times, I’ve never had a chance to actually run the Mall or the monuments. It would be so wonderful to get the chance.

Italy (Venice or Tuscany)
Italy is one of my favorite countries (at least, so far), and I would love the opportunity to run along the canals in Venice, and through the vineyards and scenery of Tuscany. I realize the cobbled streets of Venice would be rough going, but it would be so worth it for the views.

Napa Valley
This wine girlie loves some vineyards, and the combination of running and wine is just everything. I could totally see running between a few of the properties, with sampling stops, and then having a picnic in the field to recover. Fabulous.

Any Of The Cliffs In Ireland
I have never been to Ireland, but the idea of running along the cliffs and sea is just so wonderful. The mists and the moors, and the whole atmosphere soothes my soul, and I can’t imagine how peaceful it would be to just lose myself out there.

These would all make great places to run! I’ve run in DC a bunch of times but I’ve never been able to see the Cherry Blossoms. I traveled to Ireland when I was studying abroad in college but didn’t get a chance to run there.
These are all great places to run! I think the Cherry Blossom run would be so beautiful!
Those look like some lovely places to run! Particularly along that cherry blossom alley. My husband ran in Italy through the olive tree fields last year, that must have been fantastic. I really enjoyed walking there. Of course I must recommend Ireland a lot more though! (but choose some less exploited cliffs than the Cliffs of Moher)
