I took the last week off from the blog so I could celebrate 10 years of marriage with Mr PugRunner.
It’s a vacation we’ve been planning for quite some time, and I am happy to report that Sandals Grande Antigua was absolutely everything we could have wanted. I promise to do a full write up on it before the year ends – it was a very balanced mixture of relaxation and activity. This is something that we have been compromising on since we met. We both love travel, but our ideas of a good vacation are very different.
So for six days, this was my view.
with all the frozen drinks, stand up paddle boards, and turquoise ocean I could handle.
Tonight through Saturday, I’ll be surrounded by something like this
A little less glamorous, but… you know what? Adventurous is a good thing.
I’m packed and ready(ish) for Ragnar Trail Alafia River.
I have absolutely NO idea what to expect, but I do know that I will be surrounded by seven other women and we will rock it to the best of our abilities.
Eeep.
I’ll be posting to Instagram and Facebook while I’m gone, so follow along if you want to keep up with all the shenanigans! I’m sure there will be plenty of mishaps and hilarity. Stay tuned and have a great weekend!

I’m obviously about a week behind on my reading list…
Antigua looks beautiful! I’ve never been. When I was a little kid, one of my best friends and her family used to go every year for vacation, so I’ve had all kinds of ideas in my head what it was like. But I think your photos are more beautiful than what I envisioned!
Can’t wait to read your recaps! I’ve not done a Ragnar trail, so I’m curious about the logistics of that.
