I was gifted these products from Nourish through Savannah Publix Women’s Half Marathon. All opinions are my own.

As runners and athletes, we know how to train. In a way, that’s the easy part: finding a goal, working a plan and logging the miles.

It’s the rest and self-care where I, as well as many others, find the struggle.

I don’t explain why, but finding the minutes to properly engage in some R&R has always been a challenge. It’s something we all badly need, but the first thing that falls to the bottom of my to-do list.

Nourish, the family owned purveyor of natural soaps and body products, helps make it a little easier to unwind.

With this collection of shower and spa-related luxuries, even athletes with the most rigorous training schedules can find a few minutes to relax and treat their muscles to some much-needed TLC.

Essential oils provide a aromatherapeutic spa experience without ever having to leave the house. The natural ingredients are safe and good for you, so you can continue to care for your body even when you’re not getting your heart rate pumping.

After a long run or hard workout session, a soak in a warm tub with these Bath Salts is just the thing. Full of both potassium and magnesium, these aromatic bath salts will ease your sore, aching or tense muscles. The peppermint is refreshing and acts as a wonderful complement to the lavender, without being overpowering.

The Bath Fizzie is wonderful for restoring tired skin, while the Peppermint, Olive Oil and Shea Butter bar soap works to calm irritations and moisturize.

Another favorite is the Shower Steamer. This is especially wonderful this time of year, when pollen in the South is out of control, and relieving sinus pressure is key. Additionally, the soothing oils provide all the benefits of calming aromatherapy, so even if you don’t have time to pamper yourself in the tub, your shower can be just as soothing.

Finish off your self-care experience with one of Nourish’s yummy Soy Candles and you will be rested, refreshed and restored in no time.

Nourish will be on hand at the Fashion Fitness Expo at the Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon on Friday, April 6 from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Be sure to check them out there, or at their Downtown Savannah location on 202 W Broughton Street after the race.

And if you haven’t registered for the half marathon yet, don’t delay! Code PUGS18 still saves you 15% on either the half marathon or 5K! This year is going to be better than ever and you’re not going to want to miss it! Click here to register!

Thanks, for the great info. I agree there is nothing as good as soak in a warm bath with bath salts for easing the tired muscles. Keep it up! Jenn.
