I love it when the Fit Five Friday lines up with the Ultimate Coffee Date! It’s always fun to share new things with coffee and bloggy friends. Obviously, I’m having my coffee iced (I wouldn’t have it any other way)!
After reading here, head on over to visit Coco and Deborah, our awesome link-up hosts.
Over coffee, I would tell you…
That we actually celebrated National Coffee Day this week. You all know that I am a regular at my local Dunkin’ (its’s the closest coffee option by a long shot, with an incredible staff), but in honor of the day, I journeyed to one of our independent shops instead. I ordered an Aussie Iced from The Kookaburra (coffee, ice, vanilla and cream), and then checked out one of the new murals in town. I love public street art.
Over coffee, I would tell you…
That I am so excited to be part of the League of Garmin! I have been a dedicated Garmin user since I started running, so it feels only right to be part of the street team. Beat Yesterday!
Over coffee, I would tell you…
That I am in the Halloween spirit for sure! I am decorating with things I already have and with things I am currently making. I love creating, and Halloween is so fun for that sort of thing. I made this wreath with items bought from Dollar Tree, Walmart and Michaels, and it came in under $20, which is pretty cool.
Over coffee, I would tell you…
That I am also making my Halloween costume. A told me he would go as Stitch to my Lilo, but he changed his mind and wants to be Michael Myers instead (when did we go from adorable to terrifying???), so I am taking matters into my own hands. This coffee cup is part of the look, and I can’t wait to reveal the final!
Over coffee, I would tell you…
That I have four partnerships coming up, and I am so excited. I haven’t been actively working lately, as we navigated virtual school, then the return to real school, and all that came with it. While I can’t say that we are completely back to normal, I do need to find my own groove again, so here we are. I can’t wait to share the results here!
What would you share over coffee?

What is the Garmin street team?? I haven’t heard of that.
Excited to see what your new partnerships are!
Good luck with that Halloween costume!

league of Garmin is just a group of Garmin lovers who spread the love about the brand. Here’s a link to the application: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/blog/featured-2/league-of-garmin/
I am excited about the Halloween costume! I hope it translates well!
Chocolaterunsjudy says
You are so crafty! I have never made a costume in my life. And A is certainly growing up.
Congrats on League of Garmin. I should check it out but my readership is pretty small & my social media presence non existent . . . but I have been #teamgarmin since the beginning!

He’s practically a man! What happened!
My readership isn’t huge either, but I think that’s ok. Team Garmin all the way!

mm. Basic Witch. When I get my Halloween shirt we’ll have to twin from afar.
I love the Target junk aisle. Reminds me. Need to put up my witchy sign to be seen on Zoom.
runswithpugs says
That’s just part of the costume. Wait til you see the rest!

I’m feeling you on the partnerships! I just had a big one. I’d love for it to turn into something more, but it’s been a challenge to work with the brand.
I always dress up like Wonder Woman on Halloween at work. Maybe i need to mix it up this year.
runswithpugs says
I hate that it’s been hard to work with the brand 🙁
Wonder Woman is a great option! And I’m sure your patients love it! My costumes are usually a little punny or irreverent. Last year I went as a Warrior RBG and the year before that I was a Deviled Egg.
Jenny says
Oooh, I can’t wait to see your costume! I wish I were more artistic- Halloween definitely lends itself to creativity. I do like to decorate the house, inside and out!
runswithpugs says
I have most of the inside done, and will do the outside this week. It’s so fun.
Coco says
I did not go out for coffee on national coffee day, but I did brew an extra pot at home. 🙂 Congrats on your new partnerships. I think we all are trying to figure out what our new normal is.
runswithpugs says
A whole pot absolutely counts!
I thought things would get easier, but they’re just a different kind of weird and hard. I feel like I’m constantly trying to find the bright side and I don’t know how long that can continue.
Kimberly Hatting says
Congrats on Garmin! That’s exciting:-)
runswithpugs says
Thank you!
Farrah says
That’s awesome that you’re part of the League of Garmin! :]
That wreath looks perfect for Halloween! I love browsing through Target for things I probably don’t need, hehehe.
runswithpugs says
Target is very bad for me this time of year!
Michelle says
I haven’t heard of League of Garmin before – congrats!
That’s great that you have some new partnerships lined up. Looking forward to hearing more about them.

I had applied a long time ago and I was happily surprised to get the email! I love my Garmin, so I’m glad to be on board.
Zenaida Arroyo says
I am excited about your costume. Yes, now I can get into the Halloween spirit. I rarely dress up at school but in previous years I’ve work one of those cute witch hats from Michaels.
runswithpugs says
I love those hats and they’re perfect for participating but still keeping it professional.
Debbie @ Deb Runs says
Can’t wait to hear what new partnerships you have lined up! Sounds like work is getting busy again for you!
