Welcome to the first Fit Five Friday AND the first Ultimate Coffee Date of 2023.
After reading here, head on over to visit Coco and Deborah, our awesome link-up hosts.
Over coffee, I would tell you…
That we are so excited to share that this year’s Fit Five Friday has TOPICS! That’s right! We’ve created a schedule of prompts to help make Friday’s posting just a little easier! We hope this will be helpful and encourage you to play along with us on Fridays!
Over coffee, I would tell you…
That I picked my word of the year, shared some deep thoughts in regards to it, and am feeling so much more at peace. These are all good things.
Over coffee, I would tell you…
That the year is not off to a smooth start. So much has happened in the last few days to myself, my family, my friends, people adjacent to me, and public figures. It’s a little scary and tumultuous. I mean, out of nowhere, we had tornado warnings today. What?
Over coffee, I would tell you…
That with all the insanity, I’ve been bizarrely motivated. I’m really trying to keep up with my commitments to myself. Sometimes I overpromise and underdeliver. I’m trying to reverse that.
Over coffee, I would tell you…
I got the cutest cutters and can’t wait to start making some Valentine’s studs. Little hearts that say “tacos”? Yes, please!
What would you share over coffee? Any holiday plans?

The word prompts will be fun! I can usually come up with something, but it’s always nice to have some suggestions 😉 I hope your 2023 gets easier. Stay strong, and chin UP!

I am so sorry the year is off to a rough start for you. (((Hugs))). I’m glad it hasn’t stolen your motivation — keep focusing on that word — you are worthy of good things and good times.
Oh, I think the Friday topics will help get my blogging more often. Thanks for doing all that.

I love your word and I really love your tenacity Jenn! even with everything thrown at you, you still remain true to yourself! hopefully also keeping your own sanity and self-care in mind. I have been thinking about a word but I just don’t have one that “speaks” to me yet. Huge hugs and I hope things settle down for you all soon. x

Ooo, I like this schedule! I haven’t blogged regularly in a couple years now but would like to get back into it. I don’t run, but may be popping into some of the non-running prompts! 😀
Those cutters are adorable!

We’ve just introduced Taco Tuesdays to our family meal plan, so those Taco studs made me smile! Sorry to hear about your rough start to the year but also happy you’ve stayed motivated in spite of it all. Wishing you and your family an amazing 2023 and can’t wait to see all you get up to!
PS: Thanks for those Fit Five Friday prompts – I’ve been looking for some ideas and these will definitely help to get the writing juices flowing again!
