If you ask a runner about their favorite running products, you will get a multitude of different answers. The reality is there are so many different products, and different things work for different people. It’s hard to term any product as best or worst, just because so many people have particular tastes and needs. With that in mind, here are my five favorites!
Brooks Adrenaline GTS
Obviously, we are going to start with shoes. While I started in Mizunos, I am now a dedicated Brooks user, and the Adrenalines are my go-to shoe. I like the fit, and the feel. They are considered a stability shoe, but they aren’t particularly heavy or clunky. I also appreciate the fun colors and patterns. Nine times out of ten, these are the shoes I choose.
Goodr Sunglasses
As a Florida runner (and resident), I don’t go ANYWHERE without sunglasses. It’s just too bright and damaging to do otherwise. Goodr’s OG shades are my absolute favorite. They are comfortable and lightweight. They don’t slide off or bounce. Do they fog a little? Yes, but it’s so steamy and humid here that I don’t know how they couldn’t. It’s me, not them. They come in amazing colors and patterns, with just a hint of irreverence. And they are super inexpensive, with pairs starting at $25.
RoadID
Safety first! Road ID is an easy way to keep your ID, contact and medical information on your person while you are out and about. These stainless ID tags slide on to wristband, apple watch bands, or even shoelaces. There are great colors and you can even get IDs and collars for your favorite four legged friends! Brooks Distance Tank 2.0
Not going to lie, I’m making it my mission to get every single Brooks Distance tank. I love the colors, the graphics and the fit. They are light and airy, without being that tech material I can’t stand. At $32 each, they are a little on the pricier side, but they last forever and don’t get stinky. And they go on sale with decent inventory, so it’s manageable.
Honey Stinger Fuel
Fuel is so important, and I always like to have a stash of Honey Stinger gels and waffles in stock. A has a habit of confiscating said waffles, so it’s easier said than done. However, they all taste good, are easy on my stomach, and give me the energy I need. Proper fueling looks different for everyone, but these are the goodies that work best for me.

Brooks are the best! Totally agree it’s the number one running product! Shoes are everything. I’ve had Adrenalines, but I keep going back to the Ghosts.
I admire you so much for running in the Florida summer! I love to run, but I almost always quit in the spring, and start up again when it cools off.

Yay for Brooks! If I paused for summer, I would never run outside LOL!

I agree on the Goodrs and Brooks tanks (in sale)
I often eat the waffles before. They’re hard to carry so I eat Gu. Instead.
Brooks shoes are so cute but I need a lower heal drop for my toe issues.

I agree on the waffles, but I prefer their gels to Gu.

I’m a fan if Goodrs and Honey Stingers, too! I’ve been wearing Sauconys and Hokas and gear from Arc’teryx and Janji.

I love my Brooks shoes, but have sort of transitioned to the Launch GTS (from the Adrenalines). I’m tempted to test out the Adrenalines 23’s, though. The 22’s were just not a fantastic fit for me, but I can’t bring myself to completely write them off.

And I really want to try the Launch GTS but I haven’t come across them in store yet.
I think the 18s were not my favorite, but we will see how the 23s go.

Well, you know how I feel about both Brooks shoes and clothes 😉
Goodr has so many cute patterns – I really need to pick up a few more pairs! And, I never run without my RoadID – a must-have!

LOL! I do know!

I don’t think those Brooks tanks ate that expensive, compared to bands like Lululemon and Athleta. I don’t have any but I”ll check them out!
I recently got a pair of Goodrs and I love them.
runswithpugs says
That’s a good point. But I doo usually get my tanks from Old Navy or Target, so they are much pricier than those.
So glad you love your Goodrs!

Hey I just noticed something weird- my Friday post is linked here, which is fine, but I didn’t link it! I would have linked up with you guys but it’s not really a running post. I don’t mind at all but I can’t figure out how it got here… any thoughts???

I have no idea, but we are always happy to have you!
