I think one of the hardest things to accept is how to embrace self-love. So many of us are so hard on ourselves, so critical of our own flaws… in some cases, we are downright mean to ourselves. In February, the month of love. these behaviors have to go. Let’s talk about all the reasons to embrace self-love and flip the script!
Everyone Is Worthy Of Love
No matter who we are, we are worthy of and deserve love. That love has to start somewhere, and the best place to begin is from within.
When We Love Ourselves, We Want To Share That Love
We know that hurt people hurt people, but on the flip side… loved people love people. There is nothing that can stop us from spreading the love when we love ourselves. From a spark within ourselves, we can light a flame that touches so many. It’s the most wonderful gift we can give.
Self-Love Makes Us Stronger
When we embrace self love, it makes us want to be better people. The minute we recognize that we care about ourselves, we start to fight a little more for ourselves. We want to stick around, well and healthy. At the end of the day, this helps us be tougher, more resilient, and, above all, stronger.
Self Love Makes Us Beautiful
There are few things as beautiful as someone lit up with confidence and self love. That beauty from within creates the most lovely glow and welcoming energy. Love is gorgeous no matter where it originates, and I can think of no reason why we can’t share that beauty with ourselves.
If We Don’t Love Ourselves, Who Will?
As humans, we search for connection, but we shouldn’t rely too heavily on finding an outside source to show us love. Instead, we should be kind to ourselves and turn our love inward as well as out. A life without love can be lonely, but no one said that love had to come from someone else. Embrace that self love!

Great post! I learned a while ago how important this is. And am thankful I did! Like you said, everyone is worthy of love and it is so important to learn how to love ourselves, flaws and all.

Yes, I love this. Why is it SO EASY to say negative things to ourselves, and so hard to find good things to say??? I agree with all your points- great topic for Valentine’s Week!

I love everything that you said. It is hard to say nice things about it. It was hard to write the post about me but now am glad I did!
