Another month gone, which means it’s time for more lovely runfessions! February didn’t seem nearly as long as January, but I still have plenty to share.

For this month’s trip to the runfessional, let’s join up with Marcia’s Healthy Slice…
Let’s Start By Runfessing…
That I experienced some serious burnout this month. Usually, I can always muster up my creativity, but I struggled so hard. It’s normal, but disappointing and discouraging. I treated myself to a few days off social media, and I hope I am back under control.

Next, I’ll Runfess…
That even though construction is going to make the Gate River Run an absolute mess, I’m still sad I’m not going to be running. The Gate is Jacksonville’s signature race, and everyone does it. The year, my schedule did not allow for me to be there, and I just hate that for me. FOMO is real, no matter how much I try to talk myself out of it. Sigh.

My Next Runfession Is…
I panicked a little at how quickly I booked some jobs on Rover. My first request was a scam, and then I had a lull in activity, but then? I had a ton of work come through! Gasp! Now, I don’t want to hex anything but I am so grateful to have some new, incredible clients coming up, and I LOVE meeting all the new dogs!

I Runfess…
That the gym is back burnered again and I am mad about it. I honestly just don’t have enough hours in the day, especially with my current state of deadlines. Will I get back on track next month? I really need to.

Finally, I Would Runfess…
That I had a day of terrible planning and got caught in a torrential downpour! It was gross and awful and it took three days for my shoes to dry from the puddles. Yuck. Rain is my nemesis and even though I was happy to have snagged miles, it put me in a bad mood for a few hours.

I’m glad to hear that your new job at Rover has been a success! There’s nothing better than dogs!
I hope March is a better month for you. For many reasons, I’m glad to see February in the rear view mirror as well.
February was a rough month, but Rover seems like a bright spot for sure. I bet you will be very successful with it.
I haven’t had to walk Scooby in the rain for a while, but I hate when the Weather Channel app does me wrong and I get soaked half-way through our walk!
I had a feeling your Rover jobs would be successful! How nice. I feel you on the FOMO as I will not be running cherry blossom this year and all of my friends are
Glad to hear your new job is going well.
I know the feeling about never enough time. Work pays the bills but it gets in the way.
I declined running the NYC Half but now it includes the Brooklyn Bridge – FOMO and it’s impossible to get into. Oh well onto to other races.
My youngest (in NC) does a little bit of Rover on the side & loves it! One of her clients had puppies a few months ago:-)

Great to hear that the new gig with Rover is off to a good start!
I so get feeling FOMO over missing a favorite race – that’s how I’ll be feeling about Boston’s Run to Remember this year…sigh.
I hope March is a better month for you!
Awww Rover sounds like such a fun job, all scams aside. Enjoy it!
I really love it!
