Fall is really my favorite time, especially as it wraps up and leads into winter. I don’t love the early sunsets, but other than that, it’s all just about perfect. Somehow, we’ve reached that point. Hurricane season is over, despite the rain and King tides, and we are starting to experience just a bit more coolness in our days. I’m all about it.

Sunday
- Cardio: 4.71 miles, walking
While we didn’t have the latest night, I wasn’t at all mad about getting an extra hour of sleep. I had a 7AM client to walk, and it was good to feel a little more rested.
After my morning walk, I spent the day pulling down Halloween decorations. I was sad to see them go, but I got plenty of time with them this year.

Monday
- Cardio: 3.34 miles, running + walking
Back at it! I was motivated to get up and out, because it was counter day! That’s right!

Our quartz counters were delivered and installed! They are stunning and I couldn’t be happier! And yes, I absolutely enjoyed breakfast at them, because… why not?

And I was also able to enjoy a little self care, in the form of a mani. Yay for a fresh set of nails.
Tuesday
- Cardio: 5.28 miles, running + walking
I had a very rare day at home. Sure, I had a couple of dog walks, but the rest of the time, I was able to sit on the couch with the pugs and work. It was lovely.
Of course, I had a nice run as well.

Wednesday
- Cardio: 6.04 miles, walking
This was a special day! We celebrated our 20th anniversary! Twenty years is a LOOOOONNNNG time, and we were looking forward to a little getaway. But first, a walk.

We just chilled at home. We both had work to do, and the guys were in the kitchen, working on doors and drawers. We had sushi for dinner, and packed, but that was about it.
Thursday
- Cardio: 6.16 miles, running
I took myself out for a quick morning run, and spent the morning catching up on any and all last minute work. Then it was off to St. Augustine.

We stayed in the most perfect bed & breakfast, and they really did go all out!

They had strawberries and champagne waiting for us, and then a lovely happy hour tray delivered to the room. We enjoyed that all before a walk to dinner and drinks. I was awful with taking photos.
Friday
- Cardio: 3.33 miles, running
TGIF! We had a very special day. Of course, it started with a run along the bayfront. They are doing a ton of construction on the sea wall to protect the low-lying city of St. Augustine from the tides, but there were still some beautiful views.

I grabbed an iced coffee on the way back to the B&B and we enjoyed breakfast on the gazebo. Fabulous.

I actually have really one photo of the rest of the day, but I’ll update more on what we did. We absolutely got fancy and leaned into the anniversary vibe.

Saturday
- Cardio: 2.81 miles, walking
I didn’t get a great sleep, so I figured I would take a walk around town to clear my head. They are putting everything up for Nights of Lights!

We cleaned up, had breakfast, and then made our way back to the house. Phase 1 of our 20 Year Anniversary Celebration was complete! What’s next?
Thoughts + Goals
The kitchen should be done next week, and I will be spending a ton of time getting things back together. I’m incredible motivated to make it all fabulous, but there won’t be time for much else. They are still doing the pendant lights, backsplash, touchups, and front of the bar. It’s so close.

The first Thanksgiving in it is going to be epic: even A is excited!
