Friends, I am absolutely locked in right now. Seriously. After some sweltering days, we had absolutely incredible weather. Blue skies, fluffy clouds, bunnies in meadows… it’s so perfect you wouldn’t believe we are one week into hurricane season. Here we go again, friends! I really haven’t heard much about whether it will be an active few months or not, but I guess we’ll find out! So how was the week? Let’s get into it!

Sunday
- Cardio: 4.43 miles, walking
We start the last day of May finishing up with some clients and starting with others. It was an early morning, and the pup I’m staying with now LOVES sleeping in. It’s tough with the days heating up so fast, but we are making it work.
On the plus side, I got to break in my new Adrenalines, and I got to see a very curious baby deer! What a day!

Monday
- Cardio: 5.77 miles, running
- Strength: Resistance Band Workout, 20 minutes
Happy June! And happy first day of Streaking With The Cool Kids! At least one intentional, uninterrupted mile per day for 30 days! Let’s do it! Also, look how close I got to this bunny!

I spend the day with all my clients, and had an absolute wonderful time. Oh, and I did a great strength workout with my bands! We are getting things done!
Tuesday
- Cardio: 5.14 miles, running
- Strength: Resistance Band Workout, 30 minutes
Oooh boy, it’s hot out there. By the time it hits 9AM, it’s almost unbearable to be outside. I’m not a fan. I had my run, and then worked on my bands for strength.

Wednesday
- Cardio: 6 miles, walking
- Strength: Resistance Band Workout, 20 minutes
Ah, finally! A gorgeous morning with perfect temperatures, and gorgeous views.

Thursday
- Cardio: 5.88 miles, running
- Strength: Resistance Band Workout, 20 minutes
I am loving this weather so much and I wish it would continue through the summer! How do we make that happen? It was a great run. I was absolutely locked in on the day. In fact, I was so absorbed that I almost bulldozed right into a grazing deer. She was absolutely unbothered, so we all just continued on our respective ways.

I also did another workout with myd resistance bands. Since I can’t get to the gym right now, it’s a great way to get in my stregnth training. And I’ve been consistent!
Friday
- Cardio: 5.27 miles, running
TGIF! It was a great morning for a run! I also loved seeing the frolicking deer!

I followed it all up with my 6 month check up at the dentist. As always, I was an anxious wreck, and they were just lovely about it. Another year cavity-free, but the dentist did say it looks like I’ve been clenching my jaw or grinding my teeth. I mean…. have you seen the state of the world? But anyway, I’m being good and getting an estimate for a night guard.
And Happy National Doughnut Day! I haven’t had anything decadent in what feels like ages, but I absolutely wanted to try the new Banana Pudding flavor at Parlor Doughnuts. It was the perfect way to celebrate!

Saturday
- Cardio: 4.9 miles, walking
- Strength: Resistance Band Workout, 20 minutes
And here we are. Another weekend!

And then we went to see Masters Of The Universe. I confess that I was a HUGE fan of She-Ra when I was a kid, and He-Man by association. I have been watching the trailers and reviews with great consideration and finally decided that I wanted to go to the theater! It was better than I had hoped!
Thoughts + Goals
I’m feeling motivated this week. As I promised myself, I’ve been tracking my nutrition and I’ve been very mindful of my caffeine, sugar, and fiber. I’m not necessarily seeing (or feeling) any changes, but that’s ok. I’m keeping my eyes on the prize, which is overall betterment of my own personal health.
First, I’ve really been loving my new fits from Constantly Varied Gear (save 15% with my affiliate link). They have great, squat-proof leggings, but I’m really digging their bras and Daydream shorts. Usually, I don’t go for compression under my shorts (or by themselves as shorts), but these are comfortable, with a great waistband, and they don’t roll up. Plus, the patterns are too cute! They just dropped all their 4th of July looks, if you’re looking for some great red, white, and blue.

Interestingly… I started mouth taping at night. If you haven’t seen this, it’s a piece of lip-shaped tape (kind of like KT tape), that you put over your mouth at night to keep it closed. There’s a little slit in the middle to allow for breathing so no risk of suffocating. Benefits are supposed to include improved breathing through the nose, better sleep quality, and even keeping the jawline “snatched.” I figured no harm, no foul. Sleep is fine. And I’ve noticed I’m breathing more through my nose, even during the day. So all good things!
